"How to Navigate and Thrive as an Empath in Today's World"

Being an empath can be quite difficult at times leaving you overwhelmed with emotions that may not even be your own. Sounds fun right? No, not really. If you're and empath or trying to figure out if you are then stick around.


As an empath myself I have personally experienced the ups and downs of this ability. Many years of navigation and learning how to manage my ability as an empath, I've been able to actually implement my skills into daily life. So instead of just dealing with all of the extra elements brought on as an empath I have figured out how to live just as normal as anyone else.


Years ago, I was having severe dizzy spells that would keep me from going anywhere that I would have to stand in line or not have something to lean on because I literally felt like i was going to fall over. I went to numerous doctors and not one of them could figure out what was wrong with me. So, for a long time I just dealt with it until I realized that I could not live like that. I was confined and always overwhelmed with anxiety.


I knew I was an intuitive with psychic abilities but never even considered the option of being an empath. Once I was able to determine this, as it was the only option I hadn't explored, I was able to finally gain control of the unexplainable symptoms.


I was fine when at home and not in a saturated place surrounded by people and all of their personal emotions and energy. Ultimately, I discovered that I was absorbing other people's energy, and it was affecting me psychically and emotionally. I had no idea how I was going to deal with this!


I had to learn the techniques and tools in order to be able to function and not be secluded to the ailments of being an empath. This is where I learned to incorporate certain things into my daily routine in order to function. I had often pushed aside some of the things that I swear by today. If you don't take care of your own energy and establish boundaries you will be affected and continue to be affected by other people and their energy.


If you experience side effects of being an empath the following may be of great help to you!


-When you are around people and you sense a shift in your own energy, remove yourself temporarily and see how you feel once secluded. If you notice that you start to feel better once secluded, then you can now decipher what is affecting you. Someone is spewing their energy, and you were absorbing it allowing it to affect you.


-Incorporate grounding techniques daily. Nature does wonders or by simple removing your shoes and placing your bare feet onto the ground is a source of grounding. Imagine releasing all of the negative energy you've absorbed from the soles of your feet into the ground. create the intention of doing so, you can say out loud "I now release any and all energy that is doing me harm and affecting my balance and natural alignment.". Now ask the universe to infuse through your crown (the top of your head) all of the good energy to help realign you and create balance.


-Carry crystals on you when out in public, specifically ones that hold protection properties. For this I personally prefer black tourmaline, as it repels negative energy. There are many types of crystals, and they all have properties that can assist with certain needs or healing.


-Take a salt bath. A salt bath is not only rejuvenating but can wash away and cleanse energy that is hindering.


-Ask for assistance from your Spirit Guides. Your Guides can lead you to ways that will benefit you the most in keeping you balanced and your own energy at a high frequency.


-Meditation and meditation music can help clear out energy you don't want lingering. It will create inner peace and a better sense of control.


These are a few techniques I use, and they help me to remain in control. If you are struggling to gain control, I will have more on this topic as I see interest in it from members of my platform.
